1. Trainings on Risk Communication:
    1. Conducts trainings on Risk Communication at least once a year, and as per needs of the member countries. Assessment of the effectiveness of the training will be done through regular reporting of pre and post evaluation. The training module will also be reviewed to ensure its continued relevance and meeting the training needs of member countries.
    2. The Centre will also be responsible for the existing in-service trainings on risk communication for the Ministry of Health personnel.

  2. Knowledge Management and linkages to share best practices:
    1. Regularly compile case studies on risk communication from the member states and other global experiences as well develop linkages with centres of excellence on Risk Communication.
    2. Publish a regular newsletter on risk communication showcasing the research result.
    3. Develop mechanism for e-consultation on risk communication during crisis when necessary especially on EID involving regional issues.

  3. Research on Risk Communication:
    1. Provide e-consultation for preparation on research proposal for a study on community risk perceptions for ASEAN member countries.
    2. Provide e-consultation for development of research instrument to conduct research for community risk perception for members countries.

  4. Risk Communication Conference:
    1. Organise Biennial Risk Communication Regional Conference to share best practices and lessons learned at least every 2 years.

  5. RCRC Evaluation:
    • Conduct periodic evaluation of the ASEAN Risk Communication Resource Centre.
